Larry the Leprechaun Strikes Again!
The Collaboratory was buzzing with the luck and magic of St. Patrick's Day! It all started when we had a visit from Larry the Leprechaun, who took over our Design Extraordinaires kit and made himself one of the characters! The students knew he must have needed our help! They created so many fabulous trinkets that could help Larry with all of his problems! Take a look at some of their creations:
The first graders were especially excited by the visit from Larry the Leprechaun, and they wanted to learn more about him! After reading Leprechaun on the Loose, they wanted to find a kind, gentle way to catch him just so that they could talk to him and learn about him and then let him go. Take a look at some of these awesome leprechaun traps and how the students really took the time out to make sure Larry would be trapped in luxury so it would be an enjoyable experience for him:
