Welcome to the
TES Collaboratory!
The Collaboratory is a new learning studio at TES that is designed to promote student learning through the use of hands-on, student-driven activities and projects. In the Collaboratory, we will follow the model of design-thinking and explore the worlds of iSTEM and Makerspace. The students will be encouraged to imagine, innovate, create, tinker, and build. They will transform into empathy-focused designers who will work together to solve problems and tackle challenges. The students will learn how to persevere, overcome obstacles, and use creative and critical thinking skills, which will help to better prepare them for their future careers.
I created this blog so that you could follow our progress as we embark on this new adventure. I will be posting updates, stories, and pictures so that you can all watch as our story unfolds. Stay tuned for our grand reveal of the TES Collaboratory!
